Asin Thottumkal known as Asin (born 26th October, 1985 in Kochi, India is a popular film actress. She debuted in Malayalam but eventually made a big breakthrough in Telugu and Tamil cinema industries. The name Asin is the combination of the prefix "A" from the Sanskrit language and the word "Sin" from the English language. It means - "Without blemish - pure".

She has completed her B.A. English Literature at St. Teresa's College, Kochi. She has shifted from her home town Kochi to Chennai, where she stays on Harrington Road. Kareena was born on September 21, 1977 in Bombay, India. Her father name is Randhir Kapoor, who is Punjabi-speaking and her mother name is Babita, who is Sindhi-speaking. She has an elder sister, Karisma. Her first name was derived from the book Anna Karenina. She is big relationship in bollywood industries. She is the granddaughter of actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor and the great granddaughter of Prithviraj Kapoor, is also the sister of actress Karisma Kapoor and the niece of actor Rishi Kapoor.

Kareena Kapoor was educated as child in Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu, Bombay and thereafter Welham Girls Boarding School in Dehradun. studying commerce at Mithibai College, Vile Parle for two years, she embarked upon a three-month summer course in microcomputers at Harvard University. Then she re-located to Harvard for approximately 3 months to take a course in Information Technology and Microcomputers.
